When it comes to food, you have to be more open minded and receptive when it comes to taste and flavors found in Parsi food. Sweet is dominant in a few dishes and chilli is something which is left out of many. On this particular visit I chose to take a combo option where they had a portion of Tareli Machhi(fried fish), Prawns Patio and bun, along with a serving of Sikanje Bin(a very refreshing drink).
The Tareli Machhi was kind of below my expectation, probably I was looking for a more crispier version. But the Prawn patio covered it up with a sweet-chilli-tangy gravy. Nothing much to say about the buns, they were soft and fluffy.

On My previous visits I have had the signature berry pulao and Mutton dhansak along with Chicken Farcha. The berry pulao owes its sweetness to the berries added to it and the overall taste is very mild. Mutton dhansak is a typical Parsi preparation where the major ingredient apart from the meat is dal. And yes, this dish also carries a hint of sweetness. Chicken Farcha is just another name for chicken pakoda, but the Parsi way of preparing it makes it quite delicious. I can have it any day I visit SBOW.
